Yohjan Suarez, ARNP

Yohjan Suarez, ARNP, brings a wealth of experience in orthopedic care and a deep commitment to patient well-being. He began his medical career by earning his medical degree from the University of Havana in 2002 and initially practiced as a general practitioner in Cuba. From 2004 to 2008, he continued his training as an orthopedic resident at the University of Havana, later working as an orthopedic surgeon in both Cuba and Venezuela from 2008 to 2011.
After relocating to the United States, Yohjan gained further specialized experience as a surgical assistant and research assistant with Dr. Carlos Lavernia in Miami, Florida (2012-2014) and as an orthopedic tech at the University of Miami (2014-2017). His passion for patient care led him to advance his career as a nurse practitioner, working with Total Orthopedic Care from 2017 to 2022 and then with Leon Medical Center from 2022 to 2024.
Outside of his professional commitments, Yohjan enjoys spending his free time fishing, kayaking, and being with his wife and children.
